स्कंद पुराण में बताया गया है कि यदि किसी मृतक व्यक्ति की चिता में एक रूद्राक्ष का दाना चुपचाप डाल दिया जाता है तो वह मृत व्यक्ति चाहे कितना भी घोर पापी क्यों ना हो ? उसकी कभी दुर्गति नहीं होती तथा दूसरी सेवा है कि मृतक व्यक्ति की अस्थियों पर आंवले के रस का छिड़काव करने के बाद गंगा जी में प्रवाह करना चाहिए।
चूंकि उचित समय पर न तों यह चीजें हमें प्राप्त हो पाती और महंगी भी मिलती हैं ? इसीलिए प्रत्येक जीव आत्मा की भलाई के लिए आप भी यह सेवा करके पुण्य के भागी बन सकते हैं। ध्यान रहे कि महंगा होने के कारण एक व्यक्ति को एक ही रुद्राक्ष दिया जाएगा
Our scriptures say that any living person can be served in many ways, but what for the deceased person, what is the thing that can save him from misery?
It is told in the Skanda Purana that if a Rudraksha granule is put quietly in the funeral of a deceased person, then that dead person, no matter how gross a sinner is? He never gets hell and the second way is to spray amla juice on the bones collected after cremation of the deceased person and flow them into Ganga ji.
